I shop on Amazon quite often, and I stick to buying directly from Amazon. This purchase was made using a vendor and even though I was a little skeptical, I was quite surprised and very pleased with the High Standard and Quality Customer Service I received.
Wrong size earbuds were sent to me and after contacting Customer Care, they shipped me new sizes. Even though it was not the vendor's fault, but the makers' of the earbuds, they, very kindly and without hesitation, provided me with a larger size, which in the end did fir my earphones.

 Regular Density Better Than High Density For Me May 30, 2010

I originally ordered the high density, medium size replacement ear tips thinking they would be better than the originals on my Sony MDR-EX type earphones. Unfortunately, the high density, medium size was smaller than the ones that came from Sony (I only lost one so I had one left to compare) so I did not get a tight enough seal in my ears. I contacted Earphones Plus via e-mail, telling them my problem and the type of earphones I have. They recommended I use the regular density, medium size tips and mailed me replacements right away. The replacements are much closer to the originals. The diameter is exactly the same and they are just a bit "shorter" from top to bottom. The ear seal is fine and the sound is exactly the same as with the originals; i.e., all the bass I expect is present.
Bottom line is very good price, excellent service, and a very cost effective alternative to ordering replacements from Sony at $8.95 plus shipping - and you only get one pair each of S,M, and L sizes from Sony.

Like the other reviewer, I had a problem with losing the silicon cushions that came with my headphones. These fit much tighter, and I don't think I'll lose them any time soon. Very inexpensive, and very comfortable. Shipping was quick too!

These replacements fit much tighter to the earpiece than the original ones. I think they are far less likely to be pulled off while they are around the neck and not in use. They are also the best price of any I have found on the internet.
