4 out of 5 stars Simple   July 17, 2010

These headphones were an impulse buy that I have not regretted. They are simple and do the job at a great price.

5 out of 5 stars For the Price, These Can't Be Beat   July 15, 2010
Mike (USA)
I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I do own a $450 pair of Shure E500's, so I like to think I have some idea in what good audio should sound like. I'll keep it short and sweet: For the very low cost of the Marhmallows, you get very big sound. Good highs and lows, overall great sound for $20.

I bought these to essentally abuse. I don't want to use my expensive IEM's when working out or am otherwise active, but I find myself using them all the time now. They're comfortable to wear: I just give the foam a good squeeze, pull down on my ear lobe and stick them in. If you're not used to these sort of headphones, it may take a while to get used to. Your ears will eventually adjust. And the sound isolation, while not the best, is again better that you'd expect for a set this inexpensive. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat.

2 out of 5 stars Descent sound, poor design   July 3, 2010

Purchased these to replace my on ear headphones that I use for mowing my lawn. I really hoped the sound isolation would cut down on some of the noise from the mower. The sound quality is fair, not great, but for the money descent enough. My two biggest complaints both of which keep me from using them: The foam pads are too big for my ears. I consider myself a fairly big guy and these pads simply do not fit in my ears well. If they were slightly smaller, they would fit perfect. The cord length is ridiculously short. At 6 foot tall I cannot have my device in my pocket and the ear phones in my ears. There just isn't enough length.

Can't wear them since they don't fit, can't return/sell them because they are "used". Waste of money overall.

2 out of 5 stars Better Buds are Out There!   June 16, 2010
Kimberly A. Mountjoy (bowie, md United States)
I bought a pair of earbuds for a fraction of the price that delivered better sound, comfort and quality. These buds keep slipping from my ears and the cord is somewhat stiff and short. I tested the sound with another pair I bought for my cell phone and could not believe the noticeable difference. I rated the product with 2 stars because I did like that the cord length is even on both sides and adjustable.

2 out of 5 stars Ear fit is good - cord length stinks   June 13, 2010

I like the fit of the cushions in my ears. They fit even better than the cushions from the pair of similar JVC's I had before. What this pair lacks that my previous pair had is a long enough cord to go from my ears to an audio device clipped to my waist-high belt. I'm an average-height male, and the headphone cable won't reach well enough while walking to prevent the pulling out of either my ear buds or the audio device port. I've had to resort to keeping my audio device in a less secure position, higher up on my body. Pity.
