Customer Reviews:
1 out of 5 stars CD Stuck in unit   April 29, 2009
L. Lau
Originally found the unit to have great sound. But the lack of a dial and very small buttons made it difficult to operate while driving. No custom EQ setting was annoying. I had intermittent problems getting CDs to eject. But now a CD is stuck inside. From reading several forums, it appears that this problem is not uncommon for JVC car audio products.

5 out of 5 stars Great no nonsense car stereo   February 22, 2008
J. Horne (appleton, me United States)
I bought this cd player for my wife's car when her other aftermarket player went kaflooee...
I got this deck because I knew it would fit the car and I could use the same wiring harness. It took literally 2 minutes to install and when we sold our car a year later, it was one of the selling points (no,really).
Great output from a base deck without need for an extra amplifier.
EQ easy to set and easy to read display, too.

Just me hitting some random notes testing sound quality of the external Rode stereo video mic on the JVC HD7. Sound seems a bit fuller, but does seem to pick up a lot of ambient noise as well. Yamaha P70 electronic piano used here.
