This seller is quick to ship (they want your money). However, they shipped the wrong product and refused to correct the problem. They stopped responding once I accepted their offer for a credit and they never issued the credit.

Amazon ended-up issuing a refund under their A-Z Guarantee Program - a clear indication that this seller is a problem.

You may get what you ordered, assuming the seller described the product correctly, but if you have any problem with the order, LOOK OUT!

5 out of 5 stars simply the best   January 7, 2010

I started using these some three years ago after experiencing many problems with glitches, errors, etc. with all other brands. I thought Memorex, Sony, etc. would give good results from burning dvd to dvd, but from sad experience, that was NOT the case. Is seems all these companies buy from whomever gives them a good price and put their brand label on them. Thus, you might get an excellent batch from Taiyo Yuden or, more often, a bad batch from who knows who made them in their garage. Taiyo Yuden makes their own disks and tests them constantly for batch quality. I now use TY exclusively and have had no problems with glitches, etc. It is a pleasure watching a burned movie without worrying when a glitch will occur. However, I highly recomment the silver thermal lacquer dvds and not the value line. I believe other places label these silver thermals as "premium" dvds. Amazon's description doesn't say that, but that's what they are. the "value line" are so labeled and cost a bit less. I am that familiar with using the value line so cannot recommend them one way or the other, but for the cost difference, I would go with the silver thermals.

5 out of 5 stars Media does make a difference!   June 4, 2009

The Taiyo Yuden discs were the recommended dvd media for my slideshow presentation. Although somewhat skeptical, I am impressed....these discs burned first time, every time without a glitch! The supplier also is to be commended for the ease of order and speedy delivery!

This media is perfect. No data loss or anything along those lines. Best DVD quality (especially -r)

5 out of 5 stars What can I say, they ARE the best!   March 1, 2009

I've been using Taiyo Yuden discs for a long time now (from their Compact Disc recordables) and now to DVD-Rs! My Panasonic home recorder loves them and so far; I have not wasted one single disc nor experienced any problems whatsoever. For the price, they are not expensive at all and the assurance is that I'll get a brand that manufactures their own media - not from a cheap and unknown source - and that alone is worth it to pay more even IF they costs more!

The title says it all. It really works!! For questions about burning/roms, leave me a message or comment. N-joy! : ) HOW TO BURN PSX ISOS 1. Open up ImgBurn, google it to find links for download. 2. On the place that says "Source" click the folder with the mag. glass and select the iso you want. Make sure you unzip it before selecting!!!(If the iso is in parts, then unzip the part that is the smallest in size/ the last part of the iso, then select). 2.Insert CD-R into disk drive, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CD BURNER!!. 3. On ImgBurn in the "Destination" section, select the drive in which you inserted your CD into. 4.On "Settings" make the write speed 2x and of course 1 copy. DO NOT WRITE AT HIGHER SPEED THAN 2X, THIS CAUSES SOME FLAWS IN THE BURNED GAME!!! 5.Click the icon that displays a hard drive with an arrow pointing to a disk. 6. Wait for burning to finish and ur done! ADDITIONAL NOTES: *If you want to burn ps2 isos, follow the exact same steps, except substitute the CD-R for a DVD-R, pending on what type of game you have. Make sure you have a DVD writer for burning ps2 isos 1. Do not use media such as Memorex or crap made from America or Taiwan!! These CDs are known to be the worst for games. I have a list of media that works 95-100% of the time: Taiyo-Yuden Maxell Sony Pioneer (anything made from japan is always good :) ) 2.Any standard CD burner will work when burning games. 3.This technique(not burning, playing) WILL NOT work with ps2 isos ie(download a ps2 iso, burn it ...
