Legal Disclaimer: Beware of thin cheaper aftermarket cables. Generally cables under $8.00 can NOT be made up to current standards due to the current cost of copper increases! These "knock-off" cables will NOT provide full signal strenght from your PC/Projector and rarely support a clear 1080p picture. We suggest purchasing from a seller that distinguishes this difference in their notes field.

5 out of 5 stars Works   September 9, 2009
Jeff Hodges (Rhode Island)
Plugged right in, changed resolution and it was working fine.

Good for the price, don't get hung up on the big prices that people like Monster-Cable try to use to sell their products.

1 out of 5 stars Low Quality, Would not recommend   July 13, 2009
Rishi Agrawal (San Diego, CA)
I thought I was getting a great deal on this product since it seemed so much cheaper than all of alternatives. However, be warned. This product will not last terribly long.

The product lasted me just a few months before lines started appearing on my 22" LCD HDTV. At first I thought it was the TV, and I didn't suspect the cable, but then I realized that I had to wiggle the cable for it to work. At first wiggling was fine, but it got annoying when the TV would stop being recognized by my computer and then I'd have to wait for the TV to be re-recognized and then for everything to settle again. I ended up purchasing a $20 DVI to HDMI cable made by Belkin since the original product was past warranty. The Belkin cable has has been awesome since. It's definitely worth a few extra bucks for a quality cable that will survive even a little movement and bending.

5 out of 5 stars Cheap and works   June 29, 2009

It's just a cable! But it was inexpensive and works fine (like a cable should).

5 out of 5 stars This HDMI to DVI cable Works Perfect with PS3!   June 11, 2009
Duane E. Layton (New Jersey, USA)
This cable works perfect! I have no problems with it. Its been over a year now and still no issues. The picture is razor sharp on my old Toshiba 34 inch CRT HDTV! The price is unbeatable and the gold plating will last for years more. I recommend this product if you have an old HDTV or PC monitor that has DVI interface and not HDMI. Its well crafted and the price is unmatched anywhere else on the web. Even if anything were to happen to it; at this price I would buy two more as back ups. Everyone that sees my PS3 in action with this cable immedialtey just assumes its an HDMI picture.

5 out of 5 stars better luck next time   June 9, 2009

I got this in hopes that I would plug my laptop into my TV but my TV died so never got to use it. Great service and prompt shipping, easy return and quick refund.

HDMI to DVI Cable and HDMI Cable Comparison
HDMI to DVI Cable and HDMI Cable Comparison - click to watch this review

Customers ask what kind of quality they should expect when using a single link DVI cable to hook up to an HDTV. I decided to try it out for myself to get a real world answer on the difference. I was unable to tell a difference between an HDMI to DVI cable and a standard HDMI cable. Hooking my laptop up to my TV I was still able to watch movies in 1080p.

XBOX 360 HDMI TO DVI
XBOX 360 HDMI TO DVI - click to watch this review

The first cable is HDMI (from XBOX) to DVI (to monitor) cable. You can buy it from local electronic/games/console store. this cable is for graphic ONLY. thats mean you only can get the visual with no sound. this is because normal LCD Monitor didnt come with built-in speaker. For sounds system, you need Optical/RCA Audio adapter and you need normal audio converter to convert the sounds from XBOX to your PC Speakers. with this converter, you can hook up your PC speakers to XBOX, and wallah! now you get the sounds from your XBOX. Conclusions: 1) first cable is for converting HDMI ouput from XBOX to DVI input for LCD Monitor. 2) 2nd cable for converting sounds from XBOX to your PC Speakers. 3) Optical/RCA Audio adapter : www.xbox.com 4) More details : www.youtube.com Cheers!

The USB 2.0 to DVI/VGA or HDMI Adapter enables you to connect up to 6 monitors, LCD's, TV's or projectors to your PC or notebook. You can use it as an extended desktop or as a larger/different display from your main screen. By using USB 2.0 technology, there is no need to open the computer or struggle with compatibility issues related to a second VGA card.

I was looking for a guide about this when I was trying to set mine up and didn't find anything substantially helpful so I created this to try and help some people out. It's a pretty simple setup but some things just need a quick guide. *NOTE* This does not work on NON-HDCP monitors. I also gave a quick walk through on how to configure your audio setup. I used a phono to female 1/8th inch adapter to connect the ps3 AV-Multi adapter to my pc speakers. Let me know if you have any questions about this setup.
